City in Ruins have been brewing up a storm since meeting for the first time in late 2005, a culmination of the elements of the deceased Rogue Faction and Blacktop Fridays. Immediately clicking, near enough completing the song 'They're Coming For You Barbara' in the first practice. their first demo is near completion and sounding infinitely more mature than anything they have created in the past, City In Ruins then spent some time preparing songs, and growing pretty close and began gigging the local scene in Jan '06, with a great reception. Recently, thanks to the bargain of a 450 quid van (!!!) They have began to branch out and win the hearts and minds of people all around the Midlands area, Now City in Ruins are in the midst of booking a full U.K tour!
